Siteclay is a Chrome extension that installs small customizations ("mods") for websites you choose.
What Siteclay stores, and where: the mods you install, their versions, their settings and their check results are stored in your browser with Chrome's extension storage. They stay on your device.
What Siteclay sends, and to whom:
- Nothing to us. Siteclay has no account system and no analytics, and we don't collect browsing history, page content or personal information.
- Mods you make yourself (optional): when you ask Siteclay to build a custom mod, a limited description of the page you're on goes to the AI model you use (your own Claude subscription), through a helper app on your own computer. Form fields, passwords and message contents are left out. The data is handled under that provider's terms.
- Mods that read public data: a few mods read public information from another site (for example, price history for a product). They only contact the sites listed on the mod's install card, and only after you allow them.
Site access: Siteclay asks Chrome for access to one site at a time, when you install a mod for it. You can revoke it in Chrome's extension settings at any time.
What Siteclay never does: post, buy, send messages, change account settings, sell data or share data with advertisers.
This website (siteclay.com): we count visits without cookies. For each visit we record the page, the site that linked here, the campaign tag in the link, your country, your device type and which buttons you press, including any request you type into the demo box. To tell visits apart within a day we use a hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day; the IP address itself is never stored. Nothing is stored in your browser except the campaign tag, for the length of the visit.
